Town Clock Pizza - Dubuque
Town Clock Pizza
Description
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Experience**
The dining experience at this restaurant yields mixed reviews, with diners expressing both delight and disappointment. While some praise the delicious pizza, particularly the Margherita and BBQ chicken variants, others lament the small portion sizes and subpar quality. The atmosphere also garners criticism, often perceived as unwelcoming, with reports of unfriendly staff and uncomfortable seating arrangements. Though the outdoor patio is a highlight, many diners felt uneasy due to intrusive service and lack of attentiveness. Overall, while some find it a winner, others suggest seeking alternatives for a more enjoyable outing.

Large pizza was $20 and when I went to pick it up I was in disbelief of how small it was. I thought they for sure accidentally gave us the wrong size. I measured it when I got home and it was 11.5 inch diameter. It 's absolutely the smallest large pizza I 've ever had in my life. Unfortunately it was also kind of gross. My wife and I almost couldn 't finish it. It 's very similar to gas station pizza, but I 've honestly had better pizza and a couple of gas stations before (Casey 's).
I have said it before and will say it again, this is the best kept secret in the area! Pizza is always good, and with the addition of other food items like burgers and such the just keep knocking it out of the park! The owners are great people and make you feel welcome everytime you go in. I highly recommend Town Clock Inn. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
The food was good, but the pizza was lacking flavor. I will say that the mozzarella cheese was stringy when you pulled the piece of pizza from the pie which was a huge plus! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Very good food and a nice place to gather with friends! Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
