An excellent meal. We had the sweet potato pancakes, the shrimps, salmon and the cream brulee. I recommend the shrimps because it was very tasteful. The salmon had a perfect sailor without being overcooked. The restaurant offers a free crust bread, but it was very hard and little taste. I think they could do without them. My partner and I went here to celebrate my birthday. We got the two vegan dishes. We did not like the flatbread/pizza. It was trying really hard to be fresh and herby but it missed the mark. With the kale and the apple it was oddly sweet but also maybe bitter? The polenta soup was great in comparison; I would get it again! They only had one vegan dessert option but it was tasty! This is our favorite restaurant in Dubuque!! We've eaten here half a dozen times, and the food and service has been spot on each and every time.

Let us start by saying we're happy that there was a vegan pizza on the menu. However, that is the only vegan option on the menu during our visit (Sept 2021). The restaurant has a clever menu, and I think they could develop more vegan options. It's the type of place you would expect something fun and unique. It is a seasonal menu so perhaps this was the only option at the time of our visit. They did offer a vegan chocolate cake at the time which was unexpected
