Feedback
Doolally offers a mixed bag of experiences, from fantastic cuisine and hip atmosphere to disappointing food quality and overpriced items. The staff receives praise for friendliness and quick service, but some customers found the service lacking. While some dishes shine, like the Dal Makhani and cocktails, others fall flat, such as the oily Kachori. The restaurant's stylish decor is a plus, but ripped menus detract from the overall experience. Despite some highs and lows, Doolally presents a diverse menu with innovative flavors, making it a potential spot for a fun night out with friends or a date.
One of the Bests Indian food I've had so far in Dublin I must say!! Service was quick and friendly even when the place was packed. We had Lamb Shami for starters, OMG it was so good, with a cream cheese filling which actually came as a surprise and didn't disappoint at all. Butter chicken was really delicious!! Chicken Biryani was decent! And for dessert Gajar ka Halwa, Just Yum! Worth it!
Went there for group dinners and lunch on different days. The ambience is lovely and food is good. However, the lunch and dinner menu vary so there are not many options for lunch, especially for vegetarian people. Starter quantities are way too less for the price but mains are filling.
I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff are super friendly and the atmosphere of the interior is so cosy but classy at the same time. The food also came out surprisingly quickly given that the restaurant was quite busy. One of the reasons I keep coming back to this Indian restaurant in particular is the fact of their use of the red meat of chicken for their curries. This makes the curry so smooth and buttery rather than using chicken breast only, which can feel dry. We ordered so much food that we had to take the leftovers home and even when heated up the next day it was just as delicious as it was in the restaurant.
An old favourite. I used to eat here or order take out every week or two, and this is the first time back when visiting home after almost 2 years and everything is still great: Atmosphere, service and especially the Paneer Makhni is still incredibly good and flavoursome.
This is one of the best Indians I’ve had in years. Service was good, food fantastic and we all left far too full up! (Might be our fault for having kebabs as starters). The mango chicken kebab was absolutely fantastic, probably the best thing I ate whilst in Dublin. Fancy restaurant inside, clearly a popular date spot too. Not a cheap one but well worth it
