One or the nicest chippys I’ve visited in terms of food quality and it’s always been well cooked. Even though I’ve only popped in a couple times, the girls remembered me and my order which was nice. Only gripe I can have is it’s quite expensive but portions are fantastic to compensate. View all feedback.

Stopped very late on a sat evening. Girl serving was wonderful, friendly and couldn't do enough. Food (fish supper) was cooked to perfection and we will definitely be back
Best chips in Ballynahinch. Try the belly buster burger. Fish supper is first class too.
Went just after Christmas so it was really busy as most other chippies in town were closed. Between the people already ordering and the phone/online orders coming through we probably waited a good 40 minutes in total. I would say it was worth it though. lovely chicken and chips and the curry sauce was as good as any chinese. Next time would order ahead though..

I do not recommend ordering the chicken super at this restaurant. They claim to have never changed their recipe, but I have had it multiple times before and it was not what I was expecting. After a long 12-hour shift, I came home to find Mexican chicken on chips instead of the chicken super I thought I had ordered. When I called to let them know, they insisted it was the same thing. Additionally, I ordered 2 sausages but only received 1 for the high price of 2.20. The food was poor quality and the customer service was lacking when I called to address the issue. In the end, I ended up giving the food to my dog.
Shellys carryout fish chip premises dead on re the quality of the items on sale. Beside this chip shop is a Pizza carryout unit which is dead on . same ownership ? Ulster people 's utter DEAD ON meaning Tickety Boo Spot on . So there ye go.
I went to this restaurant this evening after work and ordered by phone. I was told my order would be ready in ten to fifteen minutes. When I arrived ten minutes later, I had to wait twenty minutes before being told that my order was not taken by the person I spoke to on the phone. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Everyone wears a mask in shops these days, but at Shelly's they make you take off your mask to speak to them because they claim they can't understand you. This is unacceptable during a pandemic! They even laughed at me when I spoke to them while wearing a mask. Additionally, there were eight staff members working there and not one of them was wearing a mask.
Great food, friendly staff and most importantly clean. Thank you. I love the curry with curry sauce and chips are gorgeous
The fish was delicious and well-prepared. I placed an order over the phone for takeout and it was ready for me upon arrival. Despite driving 20 minutes back home, the food remained hot and fresh.

First time, certainly not our last. Service and food, both excellent. 100% if your a first timer.. go for the fish and chip , you will not be disappointed. Parking: There are some free spaces at the front, but the car park to the side is paid parking. Just be sure to check the times on the meter when you are using it.
