One or the nicest chippys I’ve visited in terms of food quality and it’s always been well cooked. Even though I’ve only popped in a couple times, the girls remembered me and my order which was nice. Only gripe I can have is it’s quite expensive but portions are fantastic to compensate. View all feedback.

If I could give half a star I would terrible food rude staff not to mention the black hair I found in my kebab won’t be back had to stand in the rain and wind for half an hour just to get a black hair in my mouth furthermore wrong sauce on the kebab mick View all feedback.

A really good chip shop with tasty food . First class
Great customer service, fast, efficient, and tasty!
I bought two fish suppers from Shelly's on Sunday evening. The staff were very diligent about checking the fish was cooked as they kept sticking temperature probes into to them. Unfortunately the fish was overcooked, very dry and almost tasteless. The batter was the same, quite rubbery and not at all crispy as it should be. The chips were even worse as they had clearly been cooked at least half an hour before I arrived. I could see the little retaining basin where they were scooped from. When I arrived it was full of chips. They had been kept warm but were unpleasant unappetising. I only ate a few of them.
Great variety and tastes great too. Handy for our house when everyone wants something different!
Have been going to this place since it was just a wee van. Food and staff are lovely. Their cod is massive and you always get a good amount of chips. Favourite place to eat and very handy.

I do not recommend ordering the chicken super at this restaurant. They claim to have never changed their recipe, but I have had it multiple times before and it was not what I was expecting. After a long 12-hour shift, I came home to find Mexican chicken on chips instead of the chicken super I thought I had ordered. When I called to let them know, they insisted it was the same thing. Additionally, I ordered 2 sausages but only received 1 for the high price of 2.20. The food was poor quality and the customer service was lacking when I called to address the issue. In the end, I ended up giving the food to my dog.
Shellys carryout fish chip premises dead on re the quality of the items on sale. Beside this chip shop is a Pizza carryout unit which is dead on . same ownership ? Ulster people 's utter DEAD ON meaning Tickety Boo Spot on . So there ye go.
I went to this restaurant this evening after work and ordered by phone. I was told my order would be ready in ten to fifteen minutes. When I arrived ten minutes later, I had to wait twenty minutes before being told that my order was not taken by the person I spoke to on the phone. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Everyone wears a mask in shops these days, but at Shelly's they make you take off your mask to speak to them because they claim they can't understand you. This is unacceptable during a pandemic! They even laughed at me when I spoke to them while wearing a mask. Additionally, there were eight staff members working there and not one of them was wearing a mask.

The fish was delicious and well-prepared. I placed an order over the phone for takeout and it was ready for me upon arrival. Despite driving 20 minutes back home, the food remained hot and fresh.
