Waves - Dover

I visited the restaurant while it was undergoing renovations, so my experience may not be indicative of their usual service. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant visit. Upon entering, I found three staff members crowded behind a temporary counter. I requested a hot chocolate to share with my youngest child, as well as a tea cake. The hot chocolate I received was lackluster, clearly made from powder and hot water, and the tea cake was either of poor quality or freezer burnt, resulting in a chewy texture that was not enjoyable. The staff seemed idle during my visit, despite there being plenty of cleaning tasks that could have kept them occupied.

I love coming to this restaurant with a view of the mosque. I always find great deals here. It's a bit sad that many of the shops have closed, but it's still worth a visit. Plus, the cafe serves delicious chai tea at a very affordable price.

The cafe is beautiful and welcomes dogs. The prices are reasonable and the sausages are delicious!

We visited this restaurant for brunch and had a great experience. The prices were reasonable and the food was tasty. I would highly recommend trying the tomato and mozzarella toastie.
