Breaking the fishy theme, I had guinea fowl, which was first class. The set menus are good value, as is the small but well-chosen wine list, and the staff are chatty, relaxed and welcoming.

The nice waitress spoke English very well (something not so common in France) and we were offered the choice of an English or French menu. We ordered the crab dish and the homemade foie gras. Both of which were nice starters. The main course was especially good. I had the catch of the day (tuna and monkfish) and my wife had the lamb dish. The presentation of the food was nice, it tasted very good and service was very friendly and alert. Although it was a very quiet night, we had a very nice evening.
