On a stroll around lovely Douarnez, we stopped by this waterside restaurant for Saturday lunch. We both had salads as a main course, absolutely delicious. Nice choice of wines and great service. View all feedback.
We stopped by chance here for lunch today. Wonderful. Place was packed but the kind staff found us a table and we were there 3 hours for a fantastically wonderful lunch. Credit to the chef and staff. Seafood is amazing and wine superb. The harbour view is great and feels very French and warming. Wish there were more place like this.
Lovely seafront location, we had to be protected from the rain today, with a clear cover for the terrace but it didn't spoil the experience. There is a really lovely choice of seafood and local specialities all presented with real care and attention. We had smoked salmon , superb prawns, sardines and hake all from the set menu for just 15 euros for 2 courses (18 with pud) and a bottle of lovely Bandol rose for not much more than £50, lovely service too.
Found A Fleur d'Eau by chance as we were wandering around Douarnenez. It has a peaceful, inviting setting facing the bay. We got a very warm welcome and the food and wine was very good. Made our visit to Douarnenez. Well worth seeking out.
This is were I had the best meal during my holiday and possibly one of the best meals I have ever had. The restaurant has recently been taken over by a young local couple with a young and very talented chef . I dined here on a number of occasions during my stay. The seafood was very good and reasonably priced as was the wine. With good food like this and the beautiful setting by the port I’m sure they will be very successful
Was there with family and we forgot, so table was a bit in the dark back part of the restaurant... I recommend booking in terrace or nearby: every meal was very good
