I made the drive to Montgomery just for brunch, and it was totally worth it! I've been following Chef Kelsey since before she was a chef, and after visiting Alabama, I knew I had to eat here. My spouse, who is from the Midwest, had never tried red-eye gravy before, and he was blown away by it. I could have easily taken home a 5-pound bucket of it! As a bonus, I ordered every cookie from the pastry case and enjoyed th... View all feedback.
What Kenneth Muna dislikes about Kbc:
The food was decent, but the prices felt a bit steep for what was offered. The service was adequate, though it could use some improvement. The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant, with a rustic vibe that adds to the overall experience. I've visited this place several times before, and it was much better in the past, so perhaps this was just an off day for them. I'll be sure to provide an update after my next visit... Good food. Great sweet potato
The Mahi was the best I've ever tasted, with a delightful smoked flavor. The Bee's Knees cocktail was also excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. It made for a wonderfully romantic candlelit dinner. Unfortunately, they were out of the chocolate dessert, which must mean it’s fantastic since it was sold out.
