Had a fantastic meal here tonight with the kids very nice waiting staff excellent food topped off by the best apple crumble I’ve ever had, very stylish venue and can’t wait to return
Excellent food and very nice bar/restaurant. Staff are very helpful and welcoming proper irish hospitality.
Delicious food in a lovely setting . Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nice atmosphere friendly staff and they were not rushing you out the door thanks very much.
Tubridy's in Doonbeg offers a mixed experience with some patrons finding it loud and a place more suited for sports enthusiasts, while others praise the friendly staff and delicious food. The establishment received accolades for excellent service, delicious food like fish pie and apple crumble, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. However, some customers faced long wait times and bland dishes. Despite this, Tubridy's stands out in Clare for its gluten-free options and top-notch meals like crab claws and Prawn Laksa, leaving many eager to return for another dining experience.

I took my husband my granddaughter and her partner to Tubridys on Saturday 19th November 2023. We had a lovely experience, the staff were friendly the food was excellent. Thank you for a most enjoyable evening. We will be back.
This place was incredible. Went here multiple times during our stay at Trump resort. The whole family loved it. Local, family owned business. The food is exceptional. The service is top notch. Thank you to Suzanna for the kids treats! Highly recommend, don’t even look elsewhere, this place has it all! Cheers!
Wonderful gastronomic experience. Don't pass if you are in the area booking essential!

Been wanting to eat here for a while and finally got a chance! Excellent food all round. Menu small enough but options for all tastes. Full restaurant, staff under pressure but dealt with us really well. Expensive, but great quality and value for money. Would recommend.
After swimming in the nearby White Strand one evening we were famished and decided to try and grab a takeaway on our one and a half hour drive home. Passing thru the village of Doonbeg, we came across a takeaway, which is part of Tubridy 's Bar Restaurant. It advertised outside Fresh Fish Chips . We had to try this. Fillets of Fresh Hake battered in front of us and then cooked to perfection and served with Chips and Tartar Sauce. Really yummy! We will be back!
We arrived in Donberg on Tuesday on the way back to Doolin with food we had bought at the only open restaurant, a Kebab place, since inexplicably and unexpectedly all restaurants in that town close on Tuesday and Wednesday. I walked into Tubridy’s and asked the proprietor if we could eat the food we had brought with a Guinness. He could not have been more kinder and more hospitable. Our host had inherited Tubridy’s and had expanded from a single room to a fine dining restaurant with patio and lots of amenities. He and his only competitor deal with the Tuesday/Wednesday closure by one opening on Tuesday, his neighbor, and Tubridy’s on Wednesday. Our think the hospitality was genuine and will be available to all.
Nipped in for a lovely pint of Guinness while my fish and chips order was being prepared in their chip shop. Fish and chips were excellent
Ate with family on Wednesday night. The seafood was exceptional. We had Crab claws and Prawn lakso and the cod. It was stunning. Recommend the mango dessert it was delicious. I cannot recommend fish courses enough. It was very busy but with good food and such quality it was worth the wait. Loved it !!

I didn’t get to try my husband's dish because I was too engrossed in mine, but he had the brie appetizer and I think he would have licked the plate clean if there had been a design on it; he left nothing behind! He also enjoyed the burger for his main course and said it was delicious, with tender and flavorful meat and perfect accompaniments. We were both too full for dessert, but we will definitely be back!
The food was fantastic and the ambiance was wonderful. I truly wish we could have visited more than once. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist us. I particularly enjoyed the artwork displayed throughout the restaurant, especially the picture of the late Sir Terry Wogan. - Gene Clohessy
