Food and cocktails were delicious! Staff was lovely and helpful. I would recommend the hake.

Best burger we had in a long time! Thick and well done, juicy but not fatty. Amazing! The places is gorgeous inside as well. Staff was very nice too.

What an amazing evening we had recently in Morrissey of Doonbeg! From the time we walked in the door of this exceptional restaurant it was star all the way! Kelly and her team looked after all our requests, in a very professional, friendly way without being intrusive. Their stock knowledge of wines was excellent. Kudo to Krystian, our chef for cooking exceptional dishes for all with fantastic quality of produce -Crab claws delicious, Steak was one of the best I've had, and finished off with a yum Expresso Martini! One of the best restaurants I've been to in Ireland and one I look forward to returning soon to enjoying more of their excellent menu and exceptional service! Thank you Kelly Krystian!

Great meal. Special call out for the crab claws and hake. Delicious

I was very lucky to get back, on Saturday evening, to one of my favourite restaurants Morrissey's of Doonbeg. Kellie and her team were super efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and created a lovely chilled atmosphere for us. Our group started off on crab claws (simple but delicious) and for mains we had a mix Hake in a creamy sauce, Surf Turf, and Prawns served in a poppadum, with a light very tasty salad all were absolutely delicious. Thanks Krystan the head chef and is team ! We finished off with a couple of cocktails thanks to Robert excellent barman skills! Already planning our return trip!

This charming village restaurant delivers fresh and tasty food, despite some portion size issues. The Michelin Bib holder may have fallen slightly short of expectations, with service being rushed at times. However, the staff remained pleasant and courteous. Despite a few hiccups, the seafood dishes were described as "sensational." The warm and welcoming ambiance, along with friendly service, make it a recommended spot for all occasions. Some diners found the waitresses to be overly attentive, while others praised the delicious food and generous portions. Overall, this restaurant offers a delightful dining experience worth a visit.

Our host of our stay recommended us to come here for food. Food are delicious, staff are attentive and knowledgeable what to recommend. Lots of selections on the menu and clean toilets. Plenty of free parking by the road too.

They need to change their dessert supplier. Main course was very nice. No longer a fish restaurant.

We dined at Morrissey's on our final evening in Ireland. It was the highlight meal of our trip. The seafood was exceptional and the service was excellent.

I absolutely adored this pub/restaurant. We were staying nearby and brought our dog along with us, which was not an issue at all - it was fantastic. The atmosphere was delightful and the food was exceptional. I recommend making a reservation during peak season.

We had a great meal and our well behaved dog was welcomed in the bar. The staff were friendly and accommodating and made our visit a pleasure.

Very disappointing food service, waited waited to be seated even with a reservation, staff were all over the place, barman lady who was maybe manager were trying very hard to cover for the rest. Food poor Thai had no vegetables except for peas green beans, sauce was bland. Chunky chips were cooked in old oil result look overcooked but not fully cooked through. Sorry guys but a lot to learn.

Starting with the sinfully delicious crab claws in garlic butter and a melt-in-your-mouth goat cheese and hazelnut salad, our taste buds were truly awakened. We had high hopes for our main courses, and they did not disappoint. From the salmon dish to the classic fish and chips, everything was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. The meal was perfectly complemented by an excellent house Chardonnay—exactly the kind of wine every good restaurateur should offer. Great choice by the owner! With friendly and attentive staff in a warm, relaxing atmosphere, this gourmet hotspot in Doonbeg is absolutely worth a visit.
