The establishment received accolades for excellent service, delicious food like fish pie and apple crumble, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. However, some customers faced long wait times and bland dishes. Despite this, Tubridy's stands out in Clare for its gluten-free options and top-notch meals like crab claws and Prawn Laksa, leaving many eager to return for another dining experience.
We came for the jazz festival and stayed for the delicious fresh seafood, fluffy pints of guinness and the great business.
I had a special which was cod with a lobster bisque and langoustines which was delicious. The burger was also great and appeared to be homemade. Good size portion. Couldn't fault it.. Service great... Give it a try.
The food is lovely, it is tasteful and great place, waiters are amazing and the chef (Arturito) is the best one, in and out site of the kitchen
My partner and I went to Tubridys on Friday evening for a pre theatre show dinner. We had a drink in the pub which is cosy and welcoming.I was hugely surprised to see such a large and beautifully decorated restaurant at the back of this typical Irish pub! The waitress explained that it was only their first night open for the new season....honestly you would not have thought so. We were served drinks and bread to start. The waitress was full of chat and craic which was lovely. I ordered the crab prawn ravioli to start and my partner had the goats cheese tartlet. It was honestly the best starter I've ever had. Chunks of crab and prawns in a perfectly Al dente pasta shell. The bisque was light but full of flavour. The goats cheese tasted like it was whipped which was so delicious and had chunks of beetroot accompanying it. For mains my partner had the fish and chips. The batter was so crispy and light. I had the pan fried hake which was huge, perfectly cooked and so flavour some. We had eaten in Trump's Hotel the weekend beforehand and I can happily say this food was 100times nicer. I cannot wait to go back to have such wonderful food and service.
Absolutely perfect food, drinks, waitress. Very attentive, friendly. Lovely ambiance.
