This restaurant is located very close to Drake University, but finding a parking space can be quite challenging. The seating area is spacious, and the staff members are extremely friendly. I ordered a falafel wrap, but they mistakenly served me a salad instead. That actually worked out fine for me—perhaps I should focus on eating healthier, haha! The salad was delicious. They even gave me a dessert on the house due to their mistake. I’ll definitely be coming back! This update revises my previous review from June 7, 2018.

When my daughter and I arrived, there were two young women—probably in high school or college—working there, and they seemed a bit lost. While they were friendly (thankfully, this is Iowa), they managed to mess up our orders. We both ordered falafel wraps, but the falafel tasted like it had been cooked two days prior and stored improperly. It was oddly broken apart, and the huge pieces of onion, along with the tomatoes and lettuce, were far from fresh. Overall, the quality was much worse than what you’d find from a grocery store near Central Park. To make things even stranger, an offensive Elvis movie was playing on a projector on the dining room wall. I truly hope someone takes over this restaurant and turns it around, as it seems they are currently relying on college students coming in when they are drunk or hungover to stay afloat. I'm updating my previous review from February 19, 2020.
