Gastro pub eat, but to a higher standard. the pollen was excellent. sticky toffee pudding was beautiful, but not exceptional. prices are expensive, but not inappropriate. good selection of beer. beautiful building. good and friendly staff. very good. will be visited again.

I agree with the other comments regarding the customer service, it was very slow and the staff weren’t very attentive. The roast was nice but not the best, very thin gravy, just boiled veggie and the roasties tasted a bit stale. The beef and yorkshires were lovely however. The starters and dessert were nice (although we had to wait nearly 40 minutes for the dessert). Not sure I’ll be back for a roast anytime soon but I’d love to try dinner one evening!
