The ambiance was okay but my food was not. My hamburger arrived cold and dry., so dry that I choked on it. It is the worst hamburger I've ever had. By contrast my friend ordered a ploughmans lunch and loved it. The reason we travelled 75 miles from home was because of a tv program advertising the pies as being just the best. Unfortunately the program was a rerun and The Store no longer had pies on the menu.

What a find!!! Amazing food and relaxed, friendly vibe. We ate a late night pizza which was seriously good. Dog friendly outside area and super friendly staff. Take home meals from the freezer are cooked on the premises and they are amazing. We went back to buy more coq au vin because we loved it so much and we have taken home more meals to try. Local produce and household goods are worth a browse in the store. Warning do not try any of their slices and in particular the Anzac caramel slice you will be going back again and again. Soooooo good! Would make a detour if you have to to pass by this gorgeous General Store.

This restaurant has everything you need, from gifts, games, cards, and home items to delicious food that you can take away or enjoy dining in. They also offer alcohol, and I especially enjoyed the selection of local products available.

Has indoor or outdoor tables. Really enjoyed the gluten free steak sandwich. Cosy, cute setting with a shop and friendly staff

I took an inland route to Lorne and needed a caffeine stop. The Store looked very inviting. Since Melbourne was in lockdown, I had to show my "regional" license before ordering. I got coffee and milkshakes to go, and they were all very good. I will definitely return sometime for a sit-down breakfast.
