What User doesn't like about Klondyke Cream & Candy:
Over $3 just for a single scoop ice cream, which is pricey...should be about half the price, but I guess they like to take advantage of the tourists. Then again, all the places up here charge about he same. The cafe down the street is a bit more reasonable, but they close at 5pm. Enjoyed the ice cream and sat on the benches across the street to eat it. View all feedback. What User likes about Klondyke Cream & Candy:
I personally ate nothing here, but my daughter ordered an ice cream cone, a flavor called Nanisato (?) which she said was delicious. Just a tiny shop with few tables and pretty busy during the day. View all feedback.

read moreCheechako in Dawson City is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, serving delicious breakfast, lunch, and pastries. Despite being cash-only, the soft ice cream is a hit and the staff is friendly and quick. The cafe also offers great breakfast sandwiches, scones, and lunch options. Visitors have praised their ice cream cakes and decorations. The shop is often busy, but the line moves fast. With reasonable prices and big portions, Cheechako is a must-visit, especially for ham and egg croissant sandwiches, blueberry muffins, and scones. The establishment has received high recommendations from its satisfied customers.

I was happy with the staff's ability to tell me what I could order that was gluten free. I had a small dish of the Heavenly Hash flavor. Delicious!
