Small party (5 of us went for our Christmas lunch. Starter was very small. I had the ham hock terrine which should have had Christmas chutney(? but came with piccalilli. It was nice but 2 small pieces of pitta bread seemed a bit mean. Mains came out and the plates were very cold. The food was tepid and the gravy was also very cold. Bazing eating and great pub! Bar service was impeccable on Mother's Day! luke and the team are no longer there.
This pub is so welcoming that the lad behind the bar was so friendly and helpful. great burger and beer. we come back and you should try it too!
