It is a large establishment, with the toilets located upstairs which may... read more This was my first time dining at this restaurant, although my son had been here before. It is a large establishment, with the toilets located upstairs which may be inconvenient for those with mobility issues. We ordered a variety of meals, including burgers, chicken, pizza, full English breakfast, and vegetarian full English, all done through the restaurant's app. While the drinks arrived promptly, the food took longer than expected to be served. One member of our party did not receive their chips, but as we were pressed for time we did not inquire about it or request a refund. Despite the delays, all the food was tasty and served hot. The staff appeared to be under pressure but were still pleasant, considering the large area they had to cover. If I find myself in the area again with some spare time, I would consider returning to this restaurant.

Big mistake. 9 meals ordered for 3 different groups. All the food was just warm when it arrived despite all of the eggs on the 2 10oz gammons being so over cooked they were solid and the gammon was also cool but over cooked to the point it shattered when cut. The fish and chips was just warm and really oily The hunter chicken arrived with most of the accompanying food missing so went back but we were almost finished when it was returned. The story of the other cool meals was the same but we just wanted something and couldn’t be bothered to make a fuss after the day we had all been through. Just assuming they have one of the worst ding technicians on duty that day. The bar staff were good but we all felt they were embarrassed at having to serve such poor quality food Only giving a score of 2 because the staff were ok Go for a drink but get a kebab on the way home

I visit this bar about 4 times a year while in the area with work, I was there last night 25th July I can say the staff 2 girls with black hair ponytails were a... read more I visit this bar about 4 times a year while in the area with work, I was there last night 25th July I can say the staff 2 girls with black hair ponytails were amazing, rushed off their feet in a very busy bar, really seemed like they were the only staff on, but they remained friendly and calm all evening, they are a credit to the business... On the pub itself, I always find it clean, food is always well prepared, it does what a Spoons should do does it very well...
