Was Camy T at Sunset a mag?
Great restaurant to dine at while watching the sunset. The price is very reasonable (AUD39/pp).. excluding drinks. The food was really good.. seafood is fresh and they have a wide variety of cooked food both western and asian. The beef is really awesome.. not so much the crabs tho.. Excellent service they provide bowls for bones/shells and another for us to wash our hands. Both are replaced often. Worth every dollar.... View all feedback.

In one word: Excellent. My experience at this restaurant was flawless and met all of my expectations. There was a great selection of both hot and cold seafood, as well as plenty of options for those who prefer non-seafood dishes, including ample variety for vegetarians. Everything I sampled from the buffet was fresh and perfectly prepared. Whenever a dish was depleted, the staff quickly replenished it, as demonstrated with the natural oysters, which were restocked multiple times. The service from the waitstaff was also impeccable—welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Scrap and finger bowls were replaced frequently, well before they became a concern, and used plates were promptly cleared away, making space for our next trip to the buffet. The bar staff was equally efficient in bringing our drinks to the table. This attentive service was impressive, especially considering the restaurant was bustling with a good crowd. We will definitely be returning, likely many times.
We had dinner with a group of eight, and the buffet price was quite reasonable. The food was so delicious that we all kept going back for more until we were nearly stuffed! However, the cocktails could use some improvement, especially considering they were priced at $17 each. I should have opted for a classic margarita instead of the frozen slushy version, as it really compromised the flavor. The Pina Colada was more like cream than a drink, which was quite disappointing and definitely not worth the price, as shown in the picture.
This is a fantastic restaurant! The food is excellent, and dining outdoors while watching the sunset and feeling the ocean breeze is truly enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to expand the dessert options. While there are plenty of cakes available, it would be nice to have options like mousse or vanilla slice. Just something to consider! Overall, it’s a wonderful place for dinner, and I highly recommend it.
