I would suggest using softer bread as the one served was quite hard. I also felt that the portion size for $19 could have been larger. The coffee was decent, leaning towards the stronger side rather than being smooth.

The noise level from the coffee and smoothie machines, as well as the washing up, was noticeable but not too overwhelming. The menu clearly indicates vegan and vegetarian food options, but not as clearly for the drinks. I tried the Green Peace Salad and found it to be satisfactory. The portion sizes were generous.

The menu is thoughtful without being too daring, and the staff is friendly and laid-back. The coffee was the best I've had on this trip, and the mushrooms on toast were almost perfect, though maybe a tad too much pesto. The venue would fit in seamlessly in any big city, but it still has that Darwin charm, welcoming backpackers, locals, soldiers, and business professionals alike. I leave feeling refreshed.
