Set against a picturesque backdrop, this restaurant offers a mixed bag when it comes to dining. While many guests rave about the fresh seafood and exceptional service, particularly highlighting the delicious fish and chips and oysters, others report significant issues. Complaints include long wait times, unexpected menu substitutions, and disconcerting kitchen hygiene practices. Moreover, diners have noted inflated prices and additional surcharges that detract from the overall experience. Despite the flaws, the stunning views and some memorable dishes keep patrons returning, making it a place of contradiction in culinary delight.

I had a wonderful dinner here. The location is fantastic, particularly during sunset. The service was excellent—quick and friendly. The food was incredibly fresh, especially the seafood. Given the quality of the food, it was a great value for the price. We will definitely return! View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Crustaceans On The Wharf:
The food was very nice, we were not happy to be seated in the rain, and right near the edge of the water, with a young child after asking for inside seating, Also after being first to arrive and be seated we waited over 1 hour for our meals. They were very nice. View all feedback.

Wow, Silvia and her staff delivered a great experience, super friendly and professional. The food should die. Tonight is the best food experience I had in Darwin on my 3-day trip. Make yourself a favor and eat here.

I had the best fish and chips. The meal I ordered was very delicious and filled. You must definitely go there for a great meal! A decline was when they calculated $1 for tartaric acid sauce. Overall, delicious fish and chips with an amazing view.

Yeah, no. I would have expected a fish and chips on the Wharf to really get fish and chips. Portion of fish is generous, but had a funny bitter taste that you either not properly cleaned or not fresh. I asked for grilled fish and could not be disturbed either. It was easier to fried in dough and pan. The chips are blowing. The location right by the quay with the full view of the sea was the only good. But it's not what I paid for, is it?

I have never had such bad customer service. 1 lady was extremely rude as soon as I walked up. I even had to ask her what was going on, why was she so hostile. To top it off she ended up messing up my order missing 1 meal. I ended up going to the taco place a few stalls away and their service and food was amazing. Stayed for the fish and the view, left for the chips. Love supporting a smaller business in amongst all of these big establishments. Good drinks selection.
