After years of loyalty, recent experiences at Mayfu Takeaway have left many customers disillusioned. A significant price increase, ranging from 27% to 85%, has raised eyebrows, especially given the disappointing quality of food. Overcooked dishes and stale flavors marred the meal, leading to wasted orders. Service issues compounded the dissatisfaction, including unprofessional behavior from staff. Even longstanding patrons now feel neglected, with enforced menu restrictions prompting them to seek alternatives like Banana Leaf. It seems the charm of Mayfu Takeaway has faded, leaving diners searching for new culinary experiences elsewhere.

The fish and chips were absolutely terrible. The fish was flavorless and soggy, and the chips were extremely overcooked. I struggled to eat even a few bites before my jaw started to hurt. The service was not very friendly either. Our family gathering was ruined by five meals that ended up in the trash. Save yourself the trouble and eat somewhere else.
Always superb. This Chinese takeaway is my favorite, and the prices are very reasonable. Thank you.
The restaurant experience was extremely negative as the manager used a racial slur toward me (a Pakistani man). There was also a middle-aged man (around 40 years old) who I believe was a co-owner, and he made inappropriate remarks towards my wife during our 20th-anniversary celebration. Despite being only 4ft 2, he suggested a threesome and his name badge indicated he was Nooreing Khan, the father of Abdulmuhaimin Khan and husband of Shuli Surely Shark.
I've been a happy customer for decades, this evening I ordered my usual dish but was told they can't customise the dishes anymore, which they have anyways done for me on the past. Such a shame but Banana Leaf will do this so they will have my business from now on.
Phoned an order, used the online menu/price list, when I went to pick it up the price was approx 28% more than the online menu/price list, their excuse was that the online menu was years old and they were unable to have it taken down rip off. The food was ok but nothing special.
