Great place with a great team and great food. Couldn’t fault it at all! Would highly recommend for a quick meal

We attempted to make a reservation online, but encountered an error despite available space. When we arrived, we were met by a rude individual who informed us that the restaurant was fully booked until after 7pm, although we could dine in the bar area. Despite noticing empty tables in the restaurant, we decided to stay. The bar area was dirty, with food on the floor and sticky tables and chairs. We were not directed to where we could find cutlery and sauces and when we asked, the response was sarcastic. The food was decent, with good starters and salads, but the mains were disappointing. My steak was undercooked and cold. There was no one available to address our concerns and no one checked on our satisfaction. The overall service was lacking and the cleanliness of the establishment was subpar. Additionally, there was a mention of a cockroach by another table, which was concerning. It was a disappointing experience and we are unlikely to return in the near future.

Stayed next door at the premier inn so decided to go and eat dinner here. Food was ok typical for that type of eatery. Had a drink with the meal which was a little expensive for wine in my opinion. We had a code for blue light card which they scanned but I’m not convinced we got the discount, as you don’t get a receipt there was no way of checking, would have liked a receipt. Staff were friendly. It’s a busy place and tables were not freely available. All in all not that bad a place.

I have previously left negative feedback re a parking issue I call the restaurant manager and she was very helpful and cancelled parking charges and send me a e mail to confirm this Even when it was my mistake forgetting to log my registration number

I do not recommend ordering a squash drink at this restaurant. I was charged £2.20 for a pint of tap water with a squirt of squash, which I found to be outrageous. I complained but received no resolution. I have paid as little as 45p for the same drink at Beefeater and even received it for free at other restaurants. I am shocked by the price of £2.20 for a simple drink like this.
