We enjoyed our food but it didn't live up to expectations which were high due to previous reviews. Service was fine wouldn't be in a hurry to return.I had the beef blade and my wife had the mackerel and a spiced banana cake for dessert. We had lunch on a Friday at 2pm.
Beautiful pub next to a weinberg. great food, my lamb was beautiful! my buddy loved her escape. one of the best pubs for eating I had. great service with a smile and a friendly local amount. only on the bottom was a couple with a full house:
This cozy little pub exudes a charming countryside atmosphere and offers a beautiful, peaceful setting. The service was good, the food was decent, and there were plenty of beer choices available. Whether you're looking to stop by for a visit or take a break during a long walk around Trying, this place is definitely worth checking out. I absolutely loved it.
The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are incredible, and the staff is very professional.
Been coming here for around 20 years and it's always had fab food, drinks, a great atmosphere whatever the season and friendly staff. Menu changes regularly my usual go to is the bubble and squeak which is divine, but everything including this salmon are great. If you are in the area, do go there.
