We enjoyed the food and service. Excellent local dishes. We followed the advices of the waiter and it went very well. Great place with fresh food.
Every Valencian will tell you that they know where they serve the best paella in any given town or neighbourhood. If you don´t have a first-hand reference then just follow the natives and avoid the tourists. El Blanco is that place and my recent third visit was reassuringly good so as to confirm the theory. It´s not quite on the beach but close enough and feels beachy and it is open plan with a large terrace. Service is friendly and informal, there are plenty of typical options on the menu but the story here is the paella. At 12 euros per person for the standard (and delicious) paella valenciana you just can´t go wrong. Beer is freezing cold and the starters are all solid in my experience. The only slight down side is that if you are staying in Cullera main beach or close-by then you really need to drive to El Blanco, but they have their own off-street parking so not such a hassle.
This is a good place to eat with your family. The food is tasty and fresh !! You can have a good white wine for 9€ ... Service is very friendly ... It's a good place to be. Ok, you don't have a view on the beach ... But the food is great ... I recommend this place.
This could be one of the best places to taste the authentic paella valenciana. They are really good and it is close to el Dosel beach . Perfecto para probar una magnifica paella.
Visited for late lunch: very nearly couldn't get a table but one good sign was all the other diners were Spanish, with large family groups. As is often the case in this part of Spain the waiter had minimal English but we managed to order drinks and make it clear we could work out most of the menu. We ordered drinks and the waiter indicated if we wanted paella it would be a 40 minute wait. We did, but we were relaxed, and shared one Tuna salad as a starter. Two of us went for Paella with Chicken and two for paella with seafood. Both were lovely with big portions. We ended up in the restaurant for over two hours but it was a relaxed and lovely visit. I would definitely go there again. Including a bottle of nice Rose wine, the bill was €88. We were all full and contented when we left. The waiter suggested that paying €100 including tip was too much but we don't think so. It was great.
