Old Hall Inn - Craven
Old Hall Inn
Description
Nestled in the Dales, this pub offers a blend of cozy charm and mixed culinary experiences. While some visitors rave about the friendly staff and generous portions, others have expressed disappointment over rising prices and lackluster meals. The ambiance has reportedly shifted, with some stating the venue feels cold and in need of routine upkeep. Accommodating service left a positive impression on many, especially when handled with personal touches. Though the menu features appealing choices, consistency remains a concern. Ultimately, this establishment holds potential, but patrons may weigh value versus quality before planning a return visit.

I live nearby and have been into The Old Hall pub three or four times recently. On each occasion the manager, Danny (hopefully the correct name?? , has offered a warm smile and welcome. His service is pleasant, interactive and appreciated. I visited last night with friends and had a lovely meal. Tasty steak and ale pie with proper suet pastry, good chunky chips and lovely mushy peas. Nice atmosphere. Spacey, Good choice at the bar. Other staff pleasant. Well mannered dogs are welcome
My family and I visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch while on holiday. The food, atmosphere, and staff were all amazing. It was a standout experience with delicious food - I highly recommend it, especially for Sunday lunch. We returned for a second visit later in the week and the food was just as fantastic as the first time. The owner/bartender remembered us and all the staff were friendly and wonderful. I would rate this restaurant 5 out of 5 for our overall experience.
We were staying at a local campsite and booked into the Old Hall for a meal. Definitely one of the best pub meals I've had in many years. Lovely homemade food and a great selection of beers in a great traditional pub my steak and Guinness pie was outstanding. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was perfect. It's definitely a place we'll visit again when we're in the area. Dog friendly in large parts of the pub too. Food drinks: Lovely home cooked food and a great selection of beers.
