My parents are visiting from Ohio, and I am heartbroken that I can't take them to meet Ms. Clevenger in those cozy rooms and to eat the lovely food. Definitely one of the best restaurants in New Orleans. The friend green tomatoes with shrimp remoulade in particular was one of the best dishes I had on this trip. Which makes sense, considering this (now) New Orleans staple was created at Upperline! I liked the course dinner option. Portion sizes were large. I left stuffed.
