Contribute FeedbackRiver Crab is a highly recommended restaurant that unfortunately did not live up to expectations for some diners. The service was severely lacking, with long wait times and overall poor attentiveness. The food quality was also hit-or-miss, with some dishes being cold, overcooked, or just not appetizing. The experience was disappointing and not worth the high price tag. On the flip side, other diners had a wonderful experience at this establishment. The service was exceptional, and every course was delicious and visually pleasing. The ambiance was perfect for special occasions like anniversaries or date nights. With such mixed reviews, River Crab may be hit or miss depending on the day and server, but it seems like a beautiful spot to visit, especially when dining outside on a lovely day.
Had a beautiful birthday dinner here--everything was delicious but the fire-roasted oysters were spectacular.

Service was slow. Waitress got order wrong, resulting in one entree being served 10 minutes after the others. Great location.
We had a great time at the River Crab on 4th of July. The weather was spectacular so we decided to sit outside. It was perfect - the yellow umbrellas and the blue sky and water made a serene setting. Our waitress was attentive and met all our needs. The food was excellent and we hated to leave. We will definitely be back and I have been spreading the word about this place. Watching the boats on the water is a big plus. We hope to come back for a sailboat ride and lunch now that is being offered during the week.
