Seed was the first place I went to eat when I arrived in New Orleans, and it's going to be hard to beat! I actually don't know if I want to go anywhere else because it was THAT good. Seth greeted me when I walked in, and was so friendly. I asked him what his favorite menu item was, and he told me that it was the Tofu “Pork Belly” Bao. Seed offers a delicious variety of vegan small plates and entrees, unique cocktails, and a charming mid-century atmosphere. We especially loved the Korean Brussels sprouts and the beignets. The service was excellent each of the three times I patronized Seed — once at the bar, once in the dining room, and once for carry-out, despite the difficulties of the pandemic and staff shortages.
