Excellent service and lovely quality, the fish tested fresh and the batter was nice and crispy. I would recommend visiting Corries Cabin in Cowes Isle of Wight.
One of the worst fish and chip meals, I’ve ever eaten: the fish was over cooked and dry, I suspect it had been languishing in the warmer for a while and was then refried, my sister’s was the same. Another portion of fish was full of large bones at one end. The chips were soggy. At least the mushy peas were ok! We won’t be returning.
Very good Fish and Chips. Vegan available on certain nights. Licensed. Little restaurant attached to sit and eat. Very nice staff.
I ordered takeout at 6.30 on a Monday evening. It was prepared quickly, but I found the price of £16.05 for a small and medium portion of fish and chips to be quite high. The chips appeared reheated and were chewy and greasy, rather than fresh. The quality of the fish was mediocre at best. Overall, I was disappointed.
