The restaurant was highly recommended to us and now we understand why. It offers the perfect combination of trendy, upscale casual ambiance and delicious modern cuisine. It was our first time dining there, but it certainly won't be our last!

There was a mix-up between Opentable and Forks and Corks. I made a reservation through Opentable, but six days later I received an email stating that Forks and... read more There was a mix-up between Opentable and Forks and Corks. I made a reservation through Opentable, but six days later I received an email stating that Forks and Corks does not participate with Opentable and my reservation would not be honored. I called Forks and Corks and they confirmed that they had my reservation. Not sure what the confusion was about, but the restaurant itself was excellent.

The specialty drinks were amazing, the waitress was attentive and knew the menu well. There were options for our guests who couldn't eat seafood. We tried four of the appetizers and they were all delicious. The pickled shrimp was especially good, I will definitely crave it. I had the redfish and it was outstanding. The atmosphere was clean and modern, perfect for both group dinners and romantic evenings. I highly recommend Forks and Corks.

So when I was told that’s where our Friday night group was going, I was hesitant. But boy was in for a surprise! The food was great! I had the special: crunchy oyster appetizer (delicious) and a surf and turf entree.... the steak was tender and praise god not overcooked.... the shrimp were perfectly done. And yes this time the service was wonderful...i.e,.. my wine of choice is a Chardonnay that is rich and flavorful so that’s what I ordered when I came in. However this Chardonnay was flat and tasteless ...but the beauty here is that all I had to do was get the waiters attention and tell him I didn’t like it and he immediately brought me back something I knew I couldn’t pass up which was a lovely Beefeater martini. That’s the kind of service that pleases a guest! I certainly hope Corks and Forks stays open with the ridiculous foolishness it’s going on with renovating bridges (bridges I never knew existed on bootlegger) it’s hard for people to get to the restaurant. I also hope that the people who have spent big bucks to build beautiful homes in Terra Bella won’t all leave because of the 2 million apartments that have just been built on the site as well. The chef, Matt, even came out to personally speak with us and inquire about our meal and overall experience. We could only give him praise as it was a fantastic dining experience all around.
