Feedback
A recent visit to Dakota revealed a mixed experience. Seating in an offshoot barn left diners feeling isolated, despite the beautiful main dining room being visible. Complaints about the quality of the veal and small portion sizes were balanced by praise for delicious oysters, soups, and entrees. The atmosphere and service were generally positive, although a person changing from Tevas to shoes at the entrance was off-putting. Despite some inconsistencies, the restaurant's long-standing reputation, attentive service, and overall quality of food appeared to outweigh these drawbacks, with many patrons vowing to return. Dakota presents an inviting ambiance and delightful culinary journey.
My visit coincided with what I thought would be a busy period, however, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not overly crowded. The food served was enjoyable and added a nice touch to our late-night outing with friends. I would also like to commend the excellent service provided by our waiter. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
