Lovely little place which my daughter absolutely adores as a special treat. Following on from the previous review I would like to say there were a few wasps in the shop, but afterall it is a Waffle shop and wasps like sweet things so not a lot can be done about that. I am sure the doors and windows need to be open as the Waffle irons are exruintingly hot..... I'd prefer a nice cool environment to a boiling hot one whilst myself and my daughter enjoy our treat. Thankyou especially to the blonde lady with curly hair who is always so welcoming. The staff have always been lovely and polite

The staff were so welcoming and the food and milkshakes were delicious! Such a lovely atmosphere, will be coming back!!!

I don't write many reviews but this was a must. I have been to this cafe a number of times and never had a problem but this time was horrendous. The cafe was suffering a wasp infestation but as we arrived the staff were just opening the door so we decided to stay. As our food arrived we were swamped by wasps wanting our sweet waffles and milkshakes. My children were crying and our food crawling with wasps. I asked the staff for a fly hitter or what could they do, they replied there was nothing they could do. I had to leave our food to move away with my children resulting in me feeding my two year old stood up as she had a savoury waffle I asked the staff again what could they do and again no help was given from them, so they were happy for my children to be crying, our food being attacked by wasps and them having a cigarette break outside. We were offered take away boxes so I did take what I could with me but not a lot of our food as it had wasps on it. We spent nearly £60 in the cafe and i felt they didn’t care about their service one bit or grateful at all we took our custom there. My children being upset is not how I want to spend a treat day with them and no apology from the staff means I won’t be going again! I know wasps aren’t all year round but I would of thought they would of had a precaution for this type of thing considering it’s not their first year as a business and most of their waffles are sweet, they sell ice cream and milkshake!

Very disappointed with the taste of the savoury waffles. Perhaps the sweet waffles would have been a better option. The waffle tasted oily, very bland and should have been cooked more. The toppings tasted false, due to the cheese being the processed variety. A shame as the choice on the menu was good and reasonably priced. Would not return sadly.
