I booked this restaurant before a trip to cheltenham with my man for our mini-moon, as we wanted a special experience and booked with their 8-course menu. eating was amazing with any cure that offers various aromen and something that we're actually cooking at home. I didn't make many photos, because I didn't want to ruin the surprises for anyone, but we would both recommend this place. the dessert was a special highl... View all feedback.

This is a unique restaurant that incorporates Indian and British influences into their dishes. Menu choice is limited, but every dish looks interesting and there is something for all tastes. The food is both well prepared and presented with great attention to detail. Service is highly professional and friendly. The surroundings are tasteful with generous table spacings. Prices are on the high side, but as always, you get what you pay for.
We had a great time! We had the best service we've ever received at East India Cafe. They were very friendly and attentive, we really appreciated the level of service. We had the tasting menu and thought the lamb and duck dishes were very good. The other dishes were ok, but not quite as exciting.
We went there about 2 years ago. It was nice but they didn 't do a wine pairing with the tasting so it was a little disappointing. The food was good. However there was a slight altercation with the couple at the next table and the chef where he told them to leave. Very entertaining from our side but not very professional. Went for a 'masterclass ' today in which they explained how each dish was made and we were able to ask questions throughout. After each course they then served us with what had juts been made. Very interesting and worth trying.
Excellent lunch with nice delicate touches. Starting with home made lemon juice, then amuse bouche and delicious curry. If you want more rice or mini nan , just ask for more. We have been twice for lunch, unfairly quiet. Worth a visit. Wheelchair accessibility: Rear access. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Lovely atmosphere small and cosy with warm, low lighting. Expect to spend more but for an overall higher quality experience. The food is very impressive and tasty. Both the texture and taste was extremely good for all dishes I tried. There were fewer options than a typical Indian restaurant but everything I tasted was delicious. Small extras were provided between our courses which was a nice bonus. The staff were very attentive (and very polite) and it was very easy to get attention whenever we wanted. Very pleasant evening!
