We have been here multiple times and it never disappoints. The atmosphere and food are the best in Cornwall.
The service was great, but the food was awesome! We had the turkey donair and the lobster mac
The mean was excellent, the drinks a bit weak. We started off with several cocktails including an apple martini and raspberry mixed cocktail. We honestly could not detect much if any alcohol in either of the drinks The appetizers however were very good. We started off with broccoli dipped in tempura batter made with soda water to make the better even lighter when frying. It was served on a bed of julienne sliced iceberg lettuce with a honey garlic dressing with almonds. It was delicious! The calamari and baby octopus was prepared in a light curry sauce and was also extremely tasty. However the linguini with lobster was fantastic. A whole lobster worth of meat was bathed in a light red sauce and linguini. Aside from the weak cocktails the acoustics of the place were terrible. It was noisy beyond pale. We opted to skip desert as the noise in the restaurant was simply too much to bare any further. They would be well advised to have some ceiling tiles installed to absorb the noise. All in all a great place for tasty food but remember to bring your ear plugs.
We needed to stop and eat coming back from the PEC area on our way to Montreal on a Sunday and decided on Cornwall. Good choice! Lo and behold, the Sheep 's Head was still opened for lunch. We were greeted with welcoming smiles. We were...in luck: Sunday brunch. A great little menu was offered. My spouse choose the veggie omelet and I had one of the oeuf benedictine or benny . We both loved our selections and enjoyed great service. No doubt we 'll stop here again when on the 401.
