However, when I returned the following night, it was open and ready to take my or... read more When I first walked into Lola's at 7:30, the kitchen was unfortunately closed. However, when I returned the following night, it was open and ready to take my order. The initial server was prompt with my beer order but left me waiting for anything else until the bartender noticed my desire for food. When he came over to assist, he was great. The original server mentioned I had to pay for my beer before I could order anything else, as his shift had ended. Thankfully, the bartender quickly took over and helped me place my order. I went for the chicken club pizza, which was fantastic—full of flavor—and paired it with their homemade soup, which was also delicious. I will definitely return when I’m in Cornwall; I just need to make sure I avoid that first server next time.
