Description

Perched on the St. Lawrence, this waterfront pub impresses with a sunny terrace, sweeping river views and friendly, attentive service. Classic pub fare—particularly fries and fish & chips—often shines, though dishes can be inconsistent (dry or over-fried seafood, frozen desserts) and pricing feels steep. Drinks include beer and sangria but wine options are minimal and sodas sometimes arrive in cans. Wheelchair accessible and lively on weekends, it’s a casual spot best enjoyed for patio evenings and relaxed group meals if you accept a few rough edges.

Outstanding service, breathtaking water views, and consistently high-quality food — dining here is always a delightful experience.

The meal was excellent, and with a diverse menu, I’m definitely planning to return for more! My total for drinks, dinner, and coffee came to about $30. The key lime pie pushed me a bit over my budget, but it was absolutely worth it! As for wheelchair accessibility, it's very good.

You simply cannot beat the view of the river from the patio. Prices are reasonable and the staff is kind and helpful. There is parking in the grass across from the restaurant.

Nothing special about the restaurant except the location , food and service. Location is worth the drive from Ottawa. The food is by no means cheap but the perch roll is worth every penny of $25.00. Arlene, our server works the room patio like she owns the place and maybe she should. Excellent service.

We stopped by for dinner on a lovely night in October. We are inside because of the cooler weather but the view was beautiful! I was surprised when we both ordered Diet Coke/Pepsi that we got cans. It has a fairly large bar. I ordered the scallops. Ugh. Deep fried but watery. Frozen far too long, I would guess. Their Caesar salad and rice accompaniment was fresh and tasty. My husband had the day's special, which he was happy with. However, the pie, included, was just blah tasting Frozen and thawed? In summary, no food expectations but lovely view.
