My family hails from Corning and Sorge's is a must stop. As always they did not disappoint. I got the veal parmigiana and a virgin **** Mary. Good family atmosphere and good service. Finally, the food is not just good: it is phenomenal.
I ate here with my Mom for the first time, approximately 5 years ago and loved it. I vowed to eat there if I ever found myself in Corning and I did just that today. Clean restaurant, Classy decor, yet casual dress and very clean. Staff is very attentive, friendly and professional. All that aside, everything from the warm, oven fresh bread and salad with what tasted like home made ranch dressing to the minestrone soup to start and then to the entrees of seafood lasagna with Alfredo sauce and the stuffed chicken parm (both the Alfredo and red sauces are delectable) with angel hair spaghetti...everything was perfection. HIGHLY recommend Sorge's!
