Great family restaurant. Went there for dinner and ordered the Fried Calamari as an appetizer and it was delicious. The complimentary bread was very fresh and soft. The Spaghetti and Meatball on the Kid?s menu was pretty good portion and the homemade pasta was great. The Steak and Mushroom Alfredo and Parmesan Crusted Scallops were very delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will go back again.

Dinner while visiting Corning glass. Reservation. Hubby had buffet of homemade pastas. It was fine. I had the parm crusted scallops with asparagus as a veg side. Scallops were swimming in a cream sauce with some panco on top and the asparagus (3 spears) were bland and not trimmed, so only 1/2 of the stalk was edible. Small scallops were tasty, after you fished them out of the anemic soup they were swimming in. Waitress was very pleasant and lovely.

I was in town with friends for the Wineglass marathon and we were searching for a pasta dinner the night before the race. The reviews are mostly good with a a couple bad ones sprinkled in that we were concerned about but since this is the only Italian restaurant within at least 30 minutes, we took the gamble. The food was disappointing to say the least. The homemade pasta was angel hair from a box and the chicken parm was so thick/tough (not pounded out at all) that it was inedible. The prices were also extremely high given the quality of food (we were actually up charged for said homemade pasta even though we were told it came with the entrees). I feel bad writing this but it was such a disappointing meal when we needed something to fuel us for the next day. Take out pizza would have been a better option.
