What User likes about The Fry Traditional Fish Chip Shop:
Our friends brought us here—very much a local chipper and no tourists here! It was excellent. There is no seating room, but worth it! Food is cooked up fresh in front of you. Very good garlic mayonnaise to eat with your chips! View all feedback. What User doesn't like about The Fry Traditional Fish Chip Shop:
The food was mediocre; the burgers were generic and lacked flavor. The chips were decent, at least. Overall, I would rate the food a 2, the service a 3, and the atmosphere also a 3. View all feedback.

The Fry in Ballincollig has been a staple in the community for years, serving up fresh and tasty comfort food like fish and chips, burgers, and sausages. While some reviewers have had mixed experiences with portion sizes and menu availability, many others rave about the fantastic food and friendly staff. The overall consensus is that The Fry is a must-visit for those craving traditional chipper fare. With a diverse menu to choose from and accommodating staff, this small take-away continues to satisfy locals and visitors alike. Just remember to bring cash, as they don't accept credit cards.

Best chips in cork when busy, but re-heating chips when the chipper is quite is not acceptable.

This place has fantastic fish and chips! The fries are delicious, and the prices are great. I definitely recommend it!

The chips were overcooked and extremely crispy; I expected better. Meal type: Other.

Worst chips now in Ireland. Stay away!
