Menu
Here you will find the menu of Iyer's in Cork. At the moment, there are 37 dishes and drinks on the list.
Nestled by the quays, this charming family-run vegetarian and vegan restaurant offers a largely authentic Indian experience with a menu that changes seasonally. Diners can savor imaginative dishes like masala dosas and samosas, all freshly prepared and often featuring foraged ingredients. While the food garners high praise for taste, numerous patrons find the portion sizes disappointingly small and the prices steep. The cozy space can feel cramped during peak times, making lengthy visits a challenge. Overall, this eatery is a must-visit for those craving flavorful vegetarian delights, yet potential diners should prepare for a cash-only experience.

good traditional tasteful South Indian cuisine, vegan and gluten-free options, helpful people. would like to recommend the chana masala brownie, but my spouse ate all : View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Iyer's:
eating is good I guess and 95% of the menu is vegan. but for me what I did not eat a fan of spicy was not great. everything was super spicy and I asked if it was, and they said no. for her, it's not. updated by previous review on 2021-10-30 View all feedback.
I am giving this restaurant 4 stars because I am not sure what options are available for vegetarians and South Indian cuisine in Cork. When comparing it to some other restaurants we have tried, it stands out.
I have dined at this restaurant several times and the food is incredibly authentic and delicious. My only mistake is always ordering too much food because everything is so good. I highly recommend it.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic. However, the portion sizes are very small. The desserts and drinks are also on the smaller side, but they are delicious. The desserts are definitely worth trying. Just be aware that this restaurant is cash only. Overall, it is a good option for a meal.
Absolutely stunning vegetarian dishes. Packed with taste, texture and color. Sambar and Dal complex and subtle with exactly the right amount of chili, rice was delicious, nutty and cooked to perfection. The kind of food that dwells with you, and you long to go back and experience it again. Very recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmospheric: 4
