What Rory Fitzharris dislikes about Goldie:
Disappointing experience in that when we got there (9pm on a Saturday) we were informed that the monkfish, cod and the only two ‘hot’ starters were not available i.e. the already small menu was made far smaller. We made do and ordered dishes that were not our first choice (the chicken and the hake) and they were both tasty no complaints there. However we left wondering what the dishes we missed out on were like. When... View all feedback.
The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but the food is excellent. We loved trying out various side dishes with our meals. Our server was fantastic. I highly recommend making a reservation, if possible. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food was absolutely delicious! The service was great, the atmosphere was lovely, and the overall experience was fantastic. A must-visit restaurant!
We had an absolutely amazing meal at this restaurant. We were impressed by their philosophy and the constantly changing menu based on what ingredients were available. The sauces served with our main courses were so delicious that we were looking for anything to mop them up with. The service was friendly and relaxed in a beautiful setting. They also had a great selection of beers. For vegetarians, there was at least one good option available for each course. Parking in the city center was easy with plenty of paid parking lots nearby. Overall, dining here for dinner cost around €60-70 per person.
Everything was 12 out of 10, staff were super friendly, all chefs are in super good mood and means happy chefs make happy meals, I told staff to order main course for me and food was so so good highly recommend it Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
