The Maldron Hotel in Cork City offers exceptional service and dining experience, surpassing even 5-star standards. Guests praised the delicious breakfast, dinner options, fish and chips, and buffalo chicken wings. The attentive staff, especially Inta the manager, ensured flawless execution of events for large groups. Despite the COVID restrictions, dining at the Bells Bar with the Grain Grill menu provided fresh and delicious meals. Overall, the staff's teamwork, service, and culinary offerings at the Maldron Hotel in Cork City received high praise, making it a highly recommended dining destination for visitors and special events alike.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The menu offered a limited selection, the chips were undercooked, and the service was terrible—almost nonexistent. For dinner, I paid between €20 and €30, but it certainly wasn't worth it. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1. I don't recommend this place at all.
The service was excellent, and although the food was mostly good, the pizza fell short of expectations.
I attended an event at Grain Grill on Saturday, and the staff were amazing—very helpful and highly skilled. It’s clear they work exceptionally well as a team. The food was excellent and served all at once without any mistakes, even with a large group. Special thanks to the manager, Inta, who was incredibly capable and ensured the entire event went off without a hitch. Thank you!
Wish I had taken a photo but I was so hungry as a lot of restaurants were booked solid this evening. We were deterred by the terrible reviews but were we ever pleasantly surprised. The service was fast and the meal was hot and delicious. I had the slow cooked beef and it was tasty, the meat fell apart, and the gravy was decadent without being too salty. Overall, we were a table of 3 and everyone was extremely satisfied.
The food is very tasty. The waiters are very polite and attentive. There was live music. I liked everything very much.
