Went to the Met Bar at the Metropole Hotel tonight for dinner. Had a very enjoyable evening. Food was lovely, everywhere was spotless , tables well spaced out and the staff were so nice. Will definitely be back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Metropole Cork:
very old building and it showed. the first room had a sanitary problem and the second was small and the window opened to a wall. the staff was great and the breakfast was good, great view during eating next to the river. View all feedback.
Wonderful staff, very attentive, close to the bar was a pure joy. everyone was helpful, made wonderful reviews for dinner and places to visit in cork. that is the place to stay in cork.

Excellent service from the minute we were there. the personal is wonderful. I'm sorry I kicked away tomorrow morning. we will definitely be back for the full experience.
The Metropole Hotel is an experience, it is within walking distance to the city centre. It has a modern look with traditional charm and the service is very professional. There proud of their history which is clearly displayed and they know how to look after their guests at The Metropole. Their service is about you! It is next door to the Everyman theatre with lots of places to eat and explore. Look out for the Waterfall. The breakfast was delicious I had eggs florentine and really enjoyed them. My room was comfortable as a single room traveller I had a double bed. It was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Old venerable hotel with charm of the last 125 years. modern and chic room with large bathroom.
