Ormondroyd Cottage, junto al edificio principal, es otra cabaña semiindependiente que cuenta con entrada propia y puertas francesas en la sala que dan a un balcón desde donde se puede contemplar el campo abierto. Lingard Cottage, también semiindependiente y situada junto al salón principal, está decorada con gusto y dispone de entrada independiente y puertas francesas que conducen a una zona privada para sentarse y disfrutar del entorno. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The breakfast was delicious and the surroundings were beautiful, with a large garden filled with peacocks, chickens, and geese - it was so adorable!
We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant during our visit. We started with mussels, followed by the delicious dover sole and salmon fillet, both cooked perfectly. The full English breakfast was also excellent, and we enjoyed being able to add on black pudding or haggis. I especially enjoyed the haggis. We will definitely be coming back as we couldn't find any faults with our meal.
We booked a last-minute stay at this restaurant for a great price and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. We arrived late, followed the instructions to call ahead, and found our room key and instructions waiting for us as promised. The room was lovely and spacious, with a mini fridge and a large bed adorned with fresh, clean white sheets. To our delight, breakfast was also included, and it was a delicious full English meal with all the extras. We were disappointed that we only had one night here and are already thinking of reasons to come back. Thank you, Mark and Kate Somerset!
Great location, shame about the staff and management. We had thw worst evening ever and to make it worse the management were unhelpful and didn't resolve our problem of disgusting gone off food.
We stayed for three nights in one of the self catering apartments. Certainly spacious, and the setting is fantastic. The apartment itself was very tired. The towels were great, the bed linen fine, and the mattresses horrendous. Really nasty. We ate in the bar on the first night and the food was very good. We had a good time, but this property could be so much better with a lick of paint and new mattresses.
