Was StuNorman at Dolly Blue a mag?
We are in the hotel on our last night and I was very impressed with the food. There were a range of good meals available and it was a difficult choice. My trout starter was beautiful and the steak with Jenga chips was quite a tasty plateful. Service was very good too. Worth a visit View all feedback.

What 272wendyb dislikes about Dolly Blue:
Went with a friend, we wanted a snack type of meal, my friend wanted a club sandwich, asked for brown bread, brought white. The cutlery was water marked, we had to clean with serviette. The whole experience was governed by a very large tv screen, playing Sky football, all the time we were there. Not good for creating a good atmosphere. View all feedback.

Great informal bar with a good selection of beer and food. Food quality very good. Sky TV and a large patio overlooking the river.

Friendly helpful staff, good food, nice surroundings, maybe a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for

My brother and his partner visited me in Cumbria to celebrate his 55th birthday. His requirement was 'a good steak ' and he certainly got that with all the trimmings at the newly refurbished (after the December 2015 floods) Dolly Blue Bar. His partner had the Cajun chicken with salad and a side, I had the steak burger and they were all delicious. The new chef and servers in Dolly Blue provided superb cuisine and excellent service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
