We were unsure if we could get a table, but luckily a staff member managed to seat us. We ordered two kids meals (chicken strips and chicken nuggets) and four tapas dishes (couldn't decide on just 3). We tried Korean sticky chicken, salt and pepper chicken, chicken tandoori skewers, and Cajun spiced king prawns, with a side of salt and pepper chips. For drinks, we got a glass of water (the staff member asked what size glass as it was for one of my nieces, and brought it out in a cool glass she loved), a vimto slush mocktail, a glass of white wine, a half pint of Guinness (upgraded to a full pint with the tapas deal), and a hot honey margarita. The whole experience was fantastic. Despite the busy atmosphere, the young man serving us was attentive and kind, making sure we enjoyed our food and drinks. The food was delicious, and even though I thought we ordered too much, we finished it all! The drinks were also great, with one niece loving her slushy covered in sweeties, and another niece enchanted with her glass. My favorites were the Korean sticky chicken and tandoori skewers, while my sister enjoyed the prawns and skewers. We only had the table for a limited time, but considering how busy it was, it was understandable. We are grateful that the staff member was able to accommodate us because it was such a fun experience. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area. Thank you for a great time!

All three dishes were... read more I had never been to this restaurant before, but I decided to try their Espresso Martini cocktail, Tandoori skewers, and garlic mushrooms. All three dishes were delicious and plated beautifully. I felt that the garlic mushrooms could have been more flavorful, but I was recovering from a cold so my sense of taste may have been off. My colleagues mentioned that they could smell the garlic though.

The location is also fantastic.

After a disappointing visit up the road in a nearby cafe, we stumbled across here whilst walking along the marina. It was full of people and very busy. We found a quiet table outside and looked at the menu. Such a variety of choices and impressed immediately. Ordering a ‘Philly Cheese Steak baguette’ and a ‘side order of homemade chips’ this food was incredible. We had a flat glass of coca-cola (due to the barrel running out) but they quickly replaced it and apologised for the inconvenience. Friendly customer service too. Definitely go here for a spot of lunch overlooking the Marina and have a nice walk on the harbour wall to burn off all that tasty food! We would return and recommend to anyone visiting Whitehaven.
