However, the second to last time we visited for slushes, w... read more I typically go to the Sonic on Kittyhawk, which used to be an award-winning drive-in a few years ago. However, the second to last time we visited for slushes, we were turned away after waiting a while. A staff member eventually came over and informed us that he was only accepting DoorDash orders due to being short-staffed. It was disappointing. We decided to give it another try a few evenings later. There were employees present this time, so we waited again. They took our order for slushes, and we waited about seven minutes for them. During that time, a young lady mistakenly tried to serve us someone else’s order. When our slushies finally arrived, one was perfect while the other was not up to standard.
