Como is not a glittering town in terms of serious eating, so in case you are enjoying the beauty of its center, just a dozens of meters away from tha Cathedral... read more Como is not a glittering town in terms of serious eating, so in case you are enjoying the beauty of its center, just a dozens of meters away from tha Cathedral and the lake, you will find Visini , that from the outside look for what it primary is or a gourmet deli store. Since they opened in 1999 , they made quality a sort of religion and therefore if you are looking for serious food, of sublime quality , this will be your place . Every day they have a different extra dishes plus a menu that is focused on genuine flavours. Yes quality costs more, but you will not regret . The store is also perfect to fill your fridge of italian delicacies

The food was absolutely delicious,... read more We found this restaurant/deli in a side street near the Duomo, purely by chance I was bored of looking everything up online. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the tagliolini and the gnocchi, wine by the glass good quality and the service excellent. I can’t believe that anybody could visit and describe it as average. Certainly the best food we have had on this trip to Italy.
