The staff w... read more Went to the Mandarin Oriental for dinner for my Mum’s 80th birthday and, despite the thunderstorms and torrential rain, we had a really lovely time. The staff were brilliant and helped us get from the top of the road down to the hotel in the caddy, which made a big difference and kept my Mum dry. The food was excellent, the service was very good and the decor and ambience were exceptional. It would be lovely to go back on a sunny day and enjoy it properly without the downpour, but even with the weather my Mum really enjoyed it. A special dinner and a very memorable place for her 80th.

You're definitely paying for the views and the vibe. It was my husband's birthday and they brought a candle on a cake. They have a parking.

The food was also excellent! The pizzas are made to order and you can watch them make it as the oven is outside near the tables. The vongole was really good, the spaghetti was the right firmness and the sauce was exceptional. They make their own gelato in house, I got the lemon flavour and it was nice and refreshing. Highly recommended!
