While dining, I had to protect my food from an annoying fly that kept buzzing around trying to join me! The indoor temperature was also quite warm, which made it difficult to fully enjoy my meal, but the banana smoothie really helped cool me down—definitely my favorite part aside from the fried rice, broccoli, mushrooms, and orange chicken. I also tried the barbecue pork and fried chicken. They were okay—not bad, but not particularly impressive either. The crust on the chicken had a strange color underneath the brown fried surface; it looked almost like pancake or cornbread batter, and it was too thick for my taste. As for the barbecue pork, while some pieces were nicely done and enjoyable, others were a bit chewy, which I didn't like. I prefer my pork well-cooked. Overall, though, the food and hospitality were inviting. The smoothies will definitely keep me coming back, all the way from Highland Park, CA, even through the eerie parts of Downtown LA! It's all worth it—come hungry, dine in, and you'll leave satisfied!
The Boba balls here are consistently well-made. I can't count how many times I've visited small Boba shops in East Los Angeles, only to be disappointed by undercooked or hardened Boba. So this experience was a breath of fresh air! I haven't tried the food yet, but I plan to do so soon.
Wonderful restaurant! The prices are very reasonable, and the food is delicious.
It's a serve yourself Chinese food 5.99 the lb. I got a little bit of everything just to try their food. Unfortunately half of my food was cold. I bought a boba and a smoothie Both are great. Would I consider coming back? Maybe for drinks but not for food. They also have a small ice cream section.
